Really great diner food & the prices are excellent for TriBeCa. Went here on my lunch break and got a veggie burger and a turkey club triple decker. The food came out faster than the drinks (a soda and a michelada), but we had plenty of water. The portions were super generous too.

My son and I went to this restaurant twice, and both times we loved it. We had the Eggs Rancheros Omelet and the Feta Cheese Omelet. The food was great, including their homefries. The staff is always friendly, and there is plenty of space outdoors and indoors for seating. We plan to go back for their Benedict Burger and Gyro.

I came across this place while it was the tail end of Autumn so it was good to have an outside table. I would say I enjoy their Pastrami on a roll along with their fries. Service was excellent and the outdoor setup is very nice. I have heard of this place for a while, but my first time dining there. Very nice experience outside.

We always walk around here looking for a new place for lunch but I can’t believe how we missed this place. The grilled chicken triple decker sandwich was delicious ???? coffee was fresh. I like its vibe, cute colorful spot. …

Best little diner ever. The over the top Christmas decorations were awesome and they were definitely the main reason I wanted to go into the diner in the first place. The food was very tasty, the price was reasonable for the area we were in and the staff were nice & friendly. I had a very enjoyable visit here.

Great burger and chips! Went twice (two different days LOL) I like that the Maio is in a box so you can chose to not use it :)

Been coming to Gee Whiz for over 10 years on my visits to New York - I choose to ignore all the tourist traps in Midtown and come down here. Always a friendly welcome from the staff, the portions are generous and very keenly priced (given it is Manhattan). Only had breakfast here on a couple of occasions, the Eggs Rancheros and the omelets are amazing! It was downsized considerably a few years ago (I believe the original owner opened another establishment known as Tribeca's Kitchen on the corner of nearby Chambers and Duane Street, and sadly he passed away during COVID.
